PARALLEL ATTRACTION--Show of Hands?

I'm curious how many people are willing to post and share if they read the first book in my new series, PARALLEL ATTRACTION. Not because I'm an egomaniac, but it always surprises me who finds their way to my blog. Last time I asked for a kind of roll call, intro'ing where you're from. This time, let's do a PA roll call, including where you're from and your name.

So in the words of Rodger Daltrey..."Who are you? Who who? Who who? Now tell me who are you?"

I love to get know the people dropping into my blogs, so let me know! Did you read it? Are you going to?

And to add to this fun experience, allow me to post some inspiration and motivation in the form of lovely men. These are the sorts of images that tend to inspire me with writing romance. :)

This is soooooo totally the antidote I occasionally need from my world :-)

From Colorado Springs, and LOVED the descriptions of Wyoming, Mirror Lake, etc. Have been to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. Lake Jenny was my favorite. Surreal. I was pregnant with our first at the time and liked the lake so much I wanted to name the baby Jenny - but it was a boy :-)

I don't care what he LOOKS like, it's what he DOES that is so very . . . impressive. Jared, that is. Actually some of my favorite scenes are the Goodness Gracious Great Ball of Fire!! :-)

I think you've done a Maaaahvelous job on the book, the plot line is exciting, so is everything else. I found no Parts the Reader Skips Over.

Hey, Kris:
I, come back to look at the pics! And I've got to get new ones up there. A new subject has come to mind (visual one, that is), and I also want to post something about opening sentences...

As for the soldier, that's Jake Gyllenhaal in JARHEAD, which I really thought was a good movie. But he's so beautiful. How can you NOT want to read to him?? :)

Debbie!!! YEA GIRL! Glad to see you here!! Keep dropping in!

Big hugs to all my friends and thanks for posting about the book!

He's reading my book. Well, the picture book I sent him. Of me. Photoshopped with him to show him how good we'd look together if he'd just give me a chance. I'm kidding, of course. Kind of. Not really.

Gena, doll, he IS reading the photoshopped book about you two. In fact, I planted it there, right on the set, performing my usual agently manipulations. Like this: "She is Gena. She is Gena. She is wonderful. You belong to her...and this time, you don't have to pay anything!" (Wait! I'm the agent, but...)
:)

Tara and Kelli!! Great to see you here! And glad you guys are liking the "secret" blog.
hugs to all!

I haven't finished reading it yet, but I am well on my way whenever I find time at night after work and before cooking supper. I have very much enjoyed the parts that I have read, and I am very eager to see how it will pan out.

Just picked up my copy last evening. I look forward to diving into it tonight after dinner. I've got the house to myself! I have to say I normally read about Highlanders & medieval Scotland, but the back blurb caught my attention and then after reading 'Fire Within' dinner had better get over quick!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED PA. I found it at the bookstore in my hunt to find the latest scifi romance. Started it within half an hour of buying it and stayed up half the night finishing it. I could NOT put it down, literally (well except for a potty break or two). Luckily the kids were already in bed before I started :) I can barely wait until the next one is out, even though I have no choice. Alot of the scifi/paranormal romance genre repeats and I just found it such a refreshing change. I found your blog via your book website, because I was trying to find out when the next one was out and the storyline. Already joined your Yahoo group. OMG, I'm a GROUPIE. Can't wait to see what you do with Marco and Thea. Wish you had more books out before I "discovered" you. LOL

Hi there,

I was a reader of some of you "stuff" on an e-group 4 years ago (wow has it really been that long?). I heard about you being published around that same time and just recently noticed a link to your blog site and the Deidre Knight newsletter from that same e-group just recently. (I'm just assuming here you know which group I am talking about LOL!!! ) I then found out about the name of you series and where I could find it.

I was so excited to see Parrallel Attraction at Chapters and imagine my surprise when I began to recognize some of the stories and some of my all time favorite characters. I so can't wait for for PH to come out and for the story to finally continue. I love Marco and am looking forward to seeing how you adapt him to the storyline.

An excited Canadian fan of all your writting.... Lisa Howard
